Haikyuu is the kind of anime that forced everybody to enroll themselves in their school’s volleyball team. It’s the example of THE BEST sports anime without a doubt. A sports anime of any kind has its own limitations. There are repetitions of movements and skills. Storyline:
Shoyo Hinata is obsessed with volleyball. He’s greatly inspired by a volleyball ace nicknamed “Little Giant ” and wants to be like him. He ends up reviving the volleyball club at his high school but is crushed brutally by “The King of the Court”, Tobio Kageyama. He then vows to be better than Kageyama and to defeat him in volleyball in the future.
After graduating middle school, Hinata joins the Karasuno Volleyball Team and to his surprise, Kageyama is in the same team. Now, they must work together in order for their team to be unbeatable in Volleyball.

Storyline:
This OVA focuses on the Nekoma High School’s Volleyball Team. They recruit a new member, Lev Haiba, who is half-Japanese and half-Russian. While he is blessed with a good height, he lacks basic volleyball techniques.
Kenma Kozume, the setter of the team, must team up with him in order to train him well and teach him some basic techniques. On top of that, they need to play against Kunihira High School’s Volleyball Team in a practice match. Will Kenma be able to overcome the issues involving Lev?

Storyline:

Shoyo Hinata, after losing to the “King of the Court”, Tobi Kageyama, vows that he’ll defeat him the next time he’s playing against his time. However, he ends up joining the same Volleyball club as Kageyama. Initially, they struggle with getting along with each other. But soon enough, they grow closer by practising with each other. Now, they are facing Nekoma High School’s Volleyball team in a practice match and teamwork is the only thing that will help them win against the formidable team of Nekoma High.

Storyline:
Haikyuu!!: To The Top is the fourth season of Haikyuu!!. It features the events that happened after Karasuno’s win against Shiratorizawa Academy.
After winning the Spring High Tournament, Karasuno High started training for the Nationals without any break. Tobe Kageyama is invited along with a few nationally recognized players to the All-Japan Youth Training Camp. On the other hand, Kei Tsukishima is invited to some Rookie Camp.
Hinata does not feel good about this and ends up sneaking into the same rookie camp as Tsukishima. Though he only serves as a ball boy there, he’s happy because he’ll be able to learn a lot from that camp. The members of Karasuno prepare themselves for the upcoming Nationals by reflecting upon their strengths and weaknesses individually.

The battle continues at the Tokyo Qualifiers as the remaining positions in the national volleyball competition are down to three! Battles are getting intense between the schools: Nekoma Highschool, f*ckurodani Highschool, Nohebi Academy, and Itachiyama Academy as they all vie for the remaining spots for nationals. Meanwhile, Karasuno Highschool has defeated the almighty Shiratorizawa Academy, securing their spot for the nationals.
The spotlight goes to Nekoma Highschool as we all are in awe, will they be able to secure their position in the nationals? Will we witness the battle of the dump?

Episode 2: Haikyuu!!: Boru no Michi (OVA)
This one follows the battle between Nekoma Highschool and Nohebi Academy, we get to see their battle fully animated in this episode special. We get to see how Nohebi is slightly getting dirty in the game, by covering the referee’s field of vision and by calling out different calls. I know, it was here where they didn’t seem admirable, but such is their game as this also tends to happen in real games.
Nohebi starts shifting their attention to Kenma, slowly watching their prey and ensuring he’s making the most movement. It definitely starts to work as Kenma is slowly getting tired, but such tactics won’t grant them a win. Nekoma quickly adapts to the situation and thwarts Nohebi’s plans.
Soon enough we WILL have our three finalists, Itachiyama Institute as the first, f*ckurodani Academy as the second, and Nekoma Highschool as the third. All three powerhouses are now set in stone for Nationals.

13. Haikyuu!! : To The Top Season 2 (TV)

Karasuno High has finally made it to the Nationals. Their first match was a success and after that, they had to face the runner-up of the Spring Tournament, Inarizaki High School. The Miya brothers are their biggest challenge that they must face during their match with Inarizaki High.
