Tyler Technologies, Inc. has introduced its Student 360 parent-student portal, which works with Tyler student information system, or SIS, to provide parents, students and school staff enhanced mobile access to student data. The touch-enabled Student 360 app works with tablets and smart phones so that student data can be accessed from virtually anywhere via Internet-connected devices. The new Student 360 portal complements Tyler SIS, a comprehensive suite of solutions offering core school district functions, including attendance, grade book, scheduling, enrollment, transcripts, GPAs, discipline and more. Current Tyler SIS clients will receive the Student 360 platform without additional license fees through Tyler's evergreen perpetual licensing approach, which provides regular and significant, yet manageable, software enhancements without an additional relicensing fee, ensuring all systems are on the latest technology. The easy-to-use Student 360 app was built with end-users in mind and leverages the latest technology, including advanced mobile security measures. The platform's agnostic, touch-enabled user interface is as easy to use on laptops, tablets and mobile phones as it is on desktops.
