Andraya was born to her parents on November 12, 1993, in Flowery Branch, Georgia, in the United States. She holds American nationality. Her parents are Gary “Tyke” and Jessica Lhamon. She grew up with Alli, Zoey Curt Lhamon, and Chris and Shay Carter as her siblings. She began playing basketball at the age of 4 and when she was 7, she told her parents she wanted to play in college.

Andraya began serving as a sideline reporter for the NBA on ESPN in 2023. She worked as an ESPN basketball analyst for the Women’s Final Four along with Chiney Ogwumike and Elle Duncan in 2024. The show had 18.9 million viewers and the three were known as “the big three” in the media for their impact on women’s basketball. Before that, she worked as an Orange Theory (fitness center) instructor and also covered the NBA G League as an analyst.
Moreover, she went to LaChina Robinson’s Rising Media Stars media boot camp for women. After she ended her basketball career in 2016, she called Tennessee basketball games online for ESPN3.
